About Rusty

Service above self: A McGuire tradition. The son of a Vietnam era infantryman and the brother of a U.S. Navy Seal, Rusty McGuire embodies the term "citizen soldier." With over twenty-years of service, as both an officer and enlisted man, Rusty has served our nation with distinction in both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Knows the value of hard work. Rusty McGuire, a onetime high school dropout, joined the Army at the age of 17. He quickly excelled in the military and made sergeant at 19 years-old. He earned an appointment to the Virginia Military Institute where he became the first in his family to earn a college degree. Rusty continued to serve his country in the Army as a Citizen Soldier, while attending law school and finishing in the top ten percent of his graduating class. Simply put, Rusty McGuire knows the value of hard work.
