Former Catholic Priest Rodis sentenced to 13 years

Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney Rusty McGuire said he was pleased with the sentence when added to Rodis' federal prison term. During the hearing, McGuire told the judge that the worst types of defendants are those who prey on children and the elderly, or who abuse a position of trust. "The defendant, Rodney Rodis, fits all three of those categories," he said.ms – such as the program in Henrico County – should be studied to determine alternative treatment for low-level drug violators.
